Unstuff the files using an unstuff or unzip utility. Run the RIP installer and an RTI folder will be created on the hard drive of your choice. Please move on to Step #2 after the RIP is installed.

Start the RIP and go to the 'RTI RIP-Kit' menu ('File' on Macintosh versions of the RIP) and scroll down to Configure RIP. Click on the Extras button and enter the appropriate passwords from the Demo RIP Passwords Sheet (PDF). Verify that all necessary passwords for your particular printer have been entered and then click OK. While in the Configure RIP Window you will also want to Configure the RIPs memory. Change the buffers to the following settings: Network Buffer = 1,024 and Printer Buffer = 32,768.
The following set of instructions will assist you in sharing printers from your RIP computer. You will need to download the RTI_PPD.zip folder. This folder contains the RTI Postscript Printer Description (PPD) which can be used to print to the RIP. |
